OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck by and crush hazard: a.) Suspension Span, South Channel Bridge, International Bridge Road, Massena, NY 13662, on or about 10/20/2023: Employees were exposed to these hazards during inspection activities while the Liftsafe Engineering & Service Group Maintenance traveller platform traversed the underside of the bridge. Hazards existed due to limited clearance between the platform and structural supports and utility pipes on the underside of the bridge.
