29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(i):Each employee on walking/working surfaces shall be protected from falling through holes (including skylights) more than 6 feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around such holes. a. Located at 2541 Westbelt Drive, Columbus, Ohio, 43228: On or about October 12, 2023, the employer failed to ensure that employees were protected from falls through skylights while staging materials on the roof for later use, thereby exposing the employees to falls of up to approximately 22 feet, three inches to the ground below.
