OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from struck by hazards: (a) 3008 Penns Valley Road, Centre Hall, PA; Main Maintenance Shop - On or about October 25, 2023, the pallet storage rack system used to store motors and other replacement equipment was not anchored to the floor, had sustained damage to the structural upright support at the base due to corrosion, and did not have a weight rating. (b) 3008 Penns Valley Road, Centre Hall, PA; Cold Storage - On or about October 27, 2023,the pallet storage rack system was not anchored to the floor, had sustained damage to the structural upright and cross braces and did not have a weight rating. (c) 3008 Penns Valley Road, Centre Hall, PA; Dry Storage "Palace" - On or about October 27, 2023, the pallet rack system Dry-01 and Dry-02 were not anchored, had visible damage on the upright support beams, and did not have load placarded maximum load information. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
