29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: At the worksite located at 411 Jules Street St. Joseph, MO: On or about 10/3/23, employees were exposed to serious injury or death due to fall hazards. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 54 feet while conducting roofing activities on a 6:12 pitch roof without the use of fall protection such as guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
