1910.132(a): Employer shall provide, maintain, and utilize protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, wherever it is necessary by reason of hazards of processes or environment encountered in a manner capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through physical contact: On or about 10/02/2023, the Employer failed to provide protective clothing to employees when performing general landscaping maintenance work in the median between the north and southbound lanes of SW 184 Avenue, Pembroke Pines, Florida, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards from incoming vehicular traffic.
