29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: At the worksite located at 411 Jules Street St. Joseph, MO: On or about August 31, 2023, employees were exposed to serious injury or death due to fall hazards. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 54 feet while conducting roofing activities on a 6:12 pitch roof without the use of fall protection such as guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
