29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: On or about August 30, 2023, during a construction project on the roof of a commercial building located at 6599 Granger Rd, Independence, OH 44131, the employer did not ensure employees working from a low-sloped roof were protected from a fall of approximately 18 feet by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system and/or combination warning line system and safety monitoring system.
