29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. a) 17 Baron Dr Lancaster, PA 17603, employees were using a extension ladder to access/egress the roof of the structure and were exposed to fall hazards of greater then 16 feet, as the ladder was not extended at least 3-feet above the working surface, on or about August 28, 2023. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
