OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being caught in and/or struck by a lifted automobile. a) Worksite, Bay #4: On or about August 10, 2023, an employee was operating an automotive Hydraulic lift, Rotary Model # SMO14NOM11, Lift Serial # KID11D0002 with a broken safety lock cable, requiring employees to reach inside a column assembly to release the safety lock. Monro, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard OSH Act of 1970 Section 5(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1641717, citation number 2, item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 20, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 580 Main Street, Keene, New Hampshire. Monro, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard OSH Act of 1970 Section 5(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1560312, citation number 1, item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 29, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 841 Canandaigua Road, Geneva, New York.
