29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(v): The employer, who is required to establish an Exposure Control Plan, did not solicit input from non-managerial employees responsible for direct patient care who are potentially exposed to injuries from contaminated sharps in the identification, evaluation and selection of effective engineering and work practice controls: a) Laboratory: On or about July 19, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to biological hazards, in that input for the selection of safer medical devices was not solicited from non-managerial employees who are exposed to contaminated sharps when extracting blood.
