29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. On July 7, 2023, at approximately 3:30pm, an employee suffered an injury that resulted in in-patient hospitalization. The hospitalization was not reported within 24 hours to the local Area Offices of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The Austin Area Office received notification on July 11, 2023 at approximately 4:00pm.
