29 CFR 1926.1053(a)(19): Where the total length of a climb equals or exceeds 24 feet (7.3 m), fixed ladders shall be equipped with one of the following: 29 CFR 1926.1053(a)(19)(ii):Self-retracting lifelines, and rest platforms at intervals not to exceed 150 feet (45.7 m) a. Located at Thoroughbred Drive at Rickenbacker Parkway, Lockbourne, OH 43137: On or about July 3, 2023, the employer failed to provide and enforce the use of a self-retracting lifeline for employees to use with an approximately 30' fixed-ladder required to ascend and descend an active sewer construction project, which exposed employees to fall hazards.
