29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement. Worksite: 26-02 1st Street Astoria Blvd, Astoria, NY 11101. Third floor. On or about June 30th, 2023, employees were exposed to impalement hazards from uncapped rebar while working on the structure foundation. Note: Abatement documentation is required. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19.
