Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.602(b)(1):Tractors covered in paragraph (a) of this section shall have seat belts as required for the operators when seated in the normal seating arrangement for tractor operation, even though back-hoes, breakers, or other similar attachments are used on these machines for excavating or other work. LOCATION: the jobsite at 19 Newport Ave. On or about June 29th, 2023 an Employee of Sean Farrell Excavation was exposed to caught between, crush, and struck-by injuries when operating the mini-excavator he was in without the use of the seatbelts provided by the manufacturer.
