OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees in that employees were exposed to lacerations and amputations due to an unguarded saw blade: a. On or about, May 8, 2023, the employer did not guard the blade (point of operation) of the Holtec Transcut 2 Saw, serial # 96228, that was located in the yard and fixed into a stationary cutting station. An employee was exposed to the point of operation of the blade while performing measurements on a wood bundle and sustained an injury. b. On or about, June 26, 2023 the employer did not guard the blade (point of operation) of the Holtec Transcut 2 Saw, serial # 96228, that was located in the yard and fixed into a stationary cutting station.
