29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) shall receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control: a) HBD/Thermoid, Inc. - Bellefontaine, Ohio: The employer does not train Reeler Station employees as authorized employees to lock out the overhead cat-pullers prior to performing set up activities. Reeler Station employees are not trained how to control hazardous energy sources prior to performing setup. The employees are exposed to nip point hazards created by the two horizontal drive belts. This was most recently identified on or about June 22, 2023.
