Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Residential construction located at 241 Montgomery Dr, Stockbridge, GA; on roof; On or about May 30, 2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 19-feet, 4-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in roofing activities. Jose Alejandro Hernandez Garcia was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1560610, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 03-28-2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #7 Lauritsen Way, Newnan, GA 30265. Jose Alejandro Hernandez Garcia was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1528422, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 07-01-2021, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #46 White Spruce Way, Newnan, GA 30265.
