29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: Long Shot Pistol & Rifle, LLC, 375 County Ave Secaucus, NJ a) Employees performing range safety officer activities were exposed to continuous noise levels that were equivalent to 950.9%, 1375.4%, and 1606.9% of the allowable dose of 100%, or 85 dBA for an 8-hour Time Weighted Average. These exposures, which are equivalent to an 8-hour Time Weighted Average of 109.1dBA, 110.1dbA, and 110.6 dBA exceeded the action level of 85 dBA. The samples times were 321 minutes, 406 minutes, and 441 minutes respectively. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled time periods of 159 minutes, 74 minutes, and 39 minutes respectively. Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized. Violation occurred on or about June 3rd, 2023.
