29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i)(C): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by a personal fall protection system, such as personal fall arrest, travel restraint, or positioning systems: At a worksite located at 2788 East Sawyer Road Republic, Missouri. An employee was exposed to a fall hazard when working outside of the hoisting platform at heights of approximately 30 feet on an SSI Schafer Brand Crane, Serial Number 1359070-8, known to the company as Crane number 8, without the use of fall protection systems, such as personal fall arrest, travel restraint, or positioning systems.
