29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1):The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative: a) Pro Fit Hvac LLC. on or about May 15, 2023, at the address of 8246 Lutterbeck Airport Rd, New Knoxville, OH; The employer failed to ensure an energy control program consisting of control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections were developed and implemented. An employee performing service and adjustment activities near the point of operation on the Duct Line Machine (metal brake) without the benefit of an effective energy control program, was exposed the employee to pinch point hazards.
