OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to struck-by hazards from the use of a lifting hook with damages or missing safety latch: Production Department: On or about May 8, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards, in that the employer allowed employees to use crane hoists with a lifting device (hook) that had damaged or missing safety latches, such as but not limited to, the following crane hoists: (a) Crane hoists A1.
