29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. a). This violation occurred on or about April 22, 2023, when employees, who were working in switchgear of energized electrical equipment and circuits of 4,160 volts, were not trained in and familiar with safety-related work practices to protect them from arc flash, electrical shock and burns.
