29 CFR 1926.452(j)(2): Poles were not secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom, top, and other points as necessary. a- Building 1, Westampton NJ - Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 21 feet 4 inches to the ground surface below, when performing siding installation and other related activities from pum jack scaffolds whose poles were not secured by a rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom and other points as necessary. Condition observed on or about 04/25/23. IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
