29 CFR 1910.178(l)(6): The employer did not certify that each operator has been trained and evaluated as required by this paragraph (l): a) On or about April 20, 2023, Trader Joes East Inc. did not certify that each employee required to use a Yale Lift Truck (Big Joe) was trained and evaluated as required by this paragraph. Trader Joe's East Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1551751, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 18, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 44 Thompson Place in Boston, MA 02210. Trader Joe's East Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1449648, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 20, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 350 Patriot Place, Foxborough, MA. 02210.
