29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. On or about April 10, 2023, and at times prior to, employees performing food preparation and cooking duties were working on a slick floor with loose, broken, and missing flooring tiles. The employees were exposed to slip, trip, and fall hazards. Mitra Midwest Operations, LLC d.b.a. Kentucky Fried Chicken was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1612986, citation number 01, item number 01, instance a and was affirmed as a final order on 02/08/2023, with respect to the workplace located at 4702 NW Cache Rd, Lawton, OK 73505.
