29 CFR 1910.22(c): Access and egress. The employer must provide, and ensure each employee uses, a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces. a) On or about March 23, 2023 at the Defoil Area and Backside of the Depallitizer, the employer did not ensure a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces in that operators and sanitation workers were required to walk on chain conveyors when operating and cleaning spilled product at the Depallitizers, including but not limited to Depallitizer #1. This was last observed on March 30, 2023.
