Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.178(n)(4): Industrial truck driver(s) were not required to travel with the load trailing whenever the load obstructed forward view: a) 900 Kriner Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202, Location M3N - employees were traveling on powered industrial trucks equipped with paper roll clamps in a forward driving motion while carrying rolls of paper. The stacking of the paper rolls while within the clamps obstructed the operator's forward view, on or about March 24, 2023. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photograph or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
