29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii):Special hand tools for placing and removing material(s) was not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone: a) Inspection Line, D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Co, 360 South Belmont, York, PA: An employee removed product by hand from a conveyer belt. The employer did not provide a tool for use to prevent the employee from entering the danger zone, on or about March 6, 2023. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
