29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a) Jobsite at 1340 Newark Rd, Toughkenamon, PA- On or about March 14, 2023, the employer did not ensure that powered industrial truck (PIT) operator operating stand-up PIT s such as, but not limited to the, Crown RC5525-30 successfully completed the training and evaluation to ensure operators have the knowledge and skills needed to operate the powered industrial trucks safely, thereby exposing employees to caught in-between hazards.
