OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards: a) On or about 03/09/2023, at STUB A; the employer did not ensure employees were protected from struck-by/crushing hazards while employees were stripping railcars. Two employees were seriously injured when all the fastening rivets (hucks) were cut off the aluminum side sheets (2000 lbs.) of the railcar resulting in one side sheet collapsing on top of the employees before the lull lift (Model #: 944E-42) could get in place to secure the side of the railcar. Both employees' lower extremities were trapped under the collapsed side. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
