29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces were not kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip and fall hazards, as demonstrated on or about March 07, 2023, and times prior, in the back storage room, where employees move and retrieve stock. The back storage room was overpacked with boxes of product, U-boats, and roll-tainers such that there was no aisle or path for walking. Family Dollar Stores of Georgia, LLC was previously cited for a repeat-serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1597674, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/21/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 35 Mulberry Commercial Park, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
