29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wear a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects: Global Precision Parts Inc., on or about March 1, 2023, at the address of 13060 State Route 287 East Liberty, OH 43319: The employer failed to ensure that employees utilized a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects. An employee guiding a hoisted bundle of brass bar stock from a flatbed semi-truck trailer was positioned under a suspended load without the benefit of head protection. The employee operating in this condition was exposed to struck-by hazards.
