29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): (a) Centrifuge Area: On February 17, 2023 and times prior, employees operated a hydraulic press to remove waves from metal centrifuge parts. The employees hands were within in two to six inches of the hydraulic press ram that was not equipped with a point of operation guard to prevent access to the danger zone during operation, exposing employees to crushing and amputation hazards.
