29 CFR 1910.29(b)(1): A top rail, or equivalent guardrail system member, 42 inches (107 cm), plus or minus 3 inches (8 cm), above the walking-working surface was not installed: The employer was failing to protect employee from fall hazards. This was most recently documented on February 16, 2023 at 417 West Railway, Bruning, Nebraska. The employer had employees working outside the railings of a catwalk without fall protection. The height of this exposure was measured at 17 feet from the ground. This hazard was observed outside the soybean plant.
