29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i): The employer did not provide and insure the usage of "point of operation guards" or properly applied and adjusted point of operation devices on every operation performed on a mechanical power press. a) At the establishment, 51 Victor Heights Parkway, Victor, NY. - Press Room. On or about 2/1/2023, employees were operating the Komatsu Punch Press No. 7, without guards exposing workers to point of operation. An employee suffered a multi-finger amputation.
