29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee was using appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On 7 February 2023, one employee under Cheltenham Construction Services, Inc. dba CCS, was working on the roof of a single-family home located at site 53A on Longcreek Drive in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. He was not utilizing eye protection while using a pneumatic nail gun.
