OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to burns from accidental contact with hot steam pipes and hot tallow tanks: On or about January 27, 2023, at an establishment located at 2099 Badgerland Drive in Green Bay, WI; the employer did not ensure employees were protected from severe burn hazards due to potential contact with non-insulated or unguarded metal steam pipes, tallow pipes, and holding tanks in the Main Room, and the 60K and 80K rooms. The metal pipe and tank temperatures measured up to 266.3 degrees Fahrenheit and were in walkways and throughout the areas where employees cleaned and worked daily.
