Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) 50757 Ore Bank Rd, York, PA - On or about January 19, 2023, employees were installing solar panels on a roof with a height of approximately 16 feet or more above the lower level and an estimated 12 in 12 pitch and were not trained to recognize associated fall hazards. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
