29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) At the jobsite, the in running nip point on the filament winder was not guarded, exposing employees to the hazard of amputations. General Plastics & Composites, L.P., was previous cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was conducted in OSHA inspection number 1358199, citation number 01, item number 003 and was affirmed as a final order on March 11, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 6910 E.
