29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a. Kraft Heinz Foods Company, LLC, 1200 North Fifth St., Fremont, Ohio 43420: On or about January 5, 2023, in the labeling department, the employer failed to guard the point of operation on the Line Four labeler, rear label aggregate. Operators were exposed to caught hazards in proximity of pallet cylinder of the aggregate during operation. b. Kraft Heinz Foods Company, LLC., 1200 North Fifth St., Fremont, Ohio 43420: On or about January 12, 2023, in the labeling department, the employer failed to guard the point of operation on the Line Four labeler, front label aggregate. Operators were exposed to caught hazards in proximity of pallet cylinder of the aggregate during operation. The Kraft Heinz Foods Company, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1326234, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 27, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1200 North Fifth St., Fremont, Ohio 43420.
