29 CFR 1926.701(b):Reinforcing steel. All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and into which employees could fall, shall be guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement. On or about January 11 ,2023, employees were working on a mast climbing work platform erected adjacent to unguarded protruding reinforcing steel on the lower level exposing employees to impalement hazards.
