29 CFR 1904.39(a)(1): Within eight (8) hours after the death of any employee as a result of a work-related incident, the employer did not report the fatality to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), U.S. Department of Labor. On or about December 12, 2022, at or near the location of well site Staal 150-99-23-14-38 near Watford City, ND an employee suffered a fatal event. The individual was declared deceased December 12, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. and it was not reported to OSHA until December 13, at 10:20 A.M.
