29 CFR 1910.22(c): The employer must provide, and ensure each employee uses, a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces: On or about January 25, 2023, at a facility located at 502 E. Linden Street in Abbotsford, WI; the employer did not provide a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces. In the Bone Room, employees working at the inner production lines were required to pass below the bottom of a conveyor which was 43 inches above the floor. Employees entering and exiting the workstations of the inner production lines were exposed to potential machine hazards from the conveyor and to limitations of the size of the exit route for emergency egress from the workstation.
