29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) 2751 Eula St 2nd floor - On or about December 9, 2022, the employer instructed his employees to apply the second-floor plywood to the rafters while working along the edge and open joist boards without the use of a fall protection system exposing employees to fall hazards.
