OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of falling from the back of a moving vehicle: (a) Location: Parking lot at 7 Laser Lane, Wallingford, CT. On November 23, 2022, an employee was riding on a tailgate for the cargo area of a GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup Truck without seatbelts or other safety restraints, exposing the worker to a fall onto the pavement.
