Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: On or about November 28, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees engaged in residential construction activities were protected from fall hazards. Employees installing roof sheathing were not utilizing fall protection, exposing them to falls of approximately 9.3 feet to the ground below. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)
