29 CFR 1926.501(b)(7)(ii): Each employee at the edge of a well, pit, shaft, or similar excavation 6 feet (1.8 m) or more in depth was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, fences, barricades, or covers: (a) On or about November 17, 2022, and at times prior to, at the Throckmorton Sewer Trunk Line Extension Project, employees walking on an excavation bench were not protected from falling more than 20 feet to the bottom of the excavation.
