29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) On November 17, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the exit door, which led from the backroom to the loading dock area, was kept free and unobstructed. The door was obstructed by shopping carts filled with flowers on one side and a flat top cart with stacked boxes on both sides. b) On November 17, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the exit door, which lead from the loading dock area to the outside, was kept free and unobstructed. The door was obstructed by wooden display crates, baskets and racks from the inside and loading racks and a forklift from the outside. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
