The falsework bent post was offset from the nearest pile beneath the mud sill creating eccentric loading causing the structure to be unstable and overloading the mud sill capacity. On or about the date 7/23/84. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is the proper alignment of the falsework bent posts to the pilings.
