29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces were not kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition: a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip, and struck-by hazards, as demonstrated on or about October 27, 2022, at or near 780 Industrial Boulevard, Casselton, ND in the main storage room/receiving room and aisles in the main storeroom, were not kept clean, and orderly due to the storage of excess merchandise, exposing employees to slip and trip hazards and prevented employees from moving product in and out of the receiving/storage room onto the sales floor and from delivery trucks. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that the receiving/storage room is clean and organized.
